वन सराय और प्रकृति 

अपने घर से दूर एक और घर वन सराय। बर्फ से आच्छादित्  हिमालय के महान व अदभुत आकर्षक पर्वत शृंखलाओ के नज़दीक एक छोटा सा गाँव जागेश्वर धाम, जो की प्राचीन देवदारु के घने जंगलों के बीच मैं बसा हुआ है। संस्कृत या वैदौ मैं इन्हें दारूक वन भी कहा जाता है। इसलिए भगवान शिव के १२ ज्योतिर्लिंगो मैं जागेश्वर धाम को अष्टम ज्योतिर्लिंग माना जाता है।

करीब 40 साल पहले जागेश्वर में एक जोगी महात्मा आए, जिनका नाम स्वामी प्रकाशानंद महाराज सरस्वती था | बहुत सारे लोग इनको teet महाराज के नाम से भी जानते हैं | उन बाबा ने जागेश्वर से 3 किलोमीटर पहले अपना एक आश्रम बनाया जिसका नाम उन्होंने मोक्ष आश्रम दिया। बाबा वहां से प्रतिदिन जागेश्वर आते और ब्रह्म कुंड में स्नान करके मंदिर में भगवान शिव जागनाथ और महामृत्युंजय लिंग पूजन करके वापस अपने आश्रम में जाते। जब बाबा जागेश्वर आते और ब्रह्मकुंड में सर्वप्रथम जाते तो वह बाबा ब्रह्मकुंड में जल मग्न होकर के डेढ़ घंटे तक रुद्री का पाठ करते चाहे ठंड हो गर्मी हो वह बाबा अपनी तपस्या में लीन रहते। उनके बारे में ज

This happened to me at Jageshwar in district Almora (Kumaon region) of Uttarakhand. What I thought would be yet another hill station opened my eyes to some amazing lessons. 

For starters, there is a certain stillness that greets you everywhere. Later, the same stillness moves something in you. 

हिमालय पर्वत श्रृंखाओं के गोद में विशाल देवदारू वृक्षों के घने जंगलों के बीच में बसे है भगवान शिव। वैसे तो हिमालय में बहुत सारे शिव मंदिर बने है लेकिन जो जागेश्वर में शिव है वो बहुत ही प्राचीन है। वेदों पुरणों में जो कि अटल सत्य है उनमें श्री जागेश्वर शिव का नाम आता है। ये एकमात्र स्थान है जहां शिव अपने जागृत अवस्था में रहते है, जो मांगो वो मिल जाता है। पूरे सृष्टि में एक मात्र स्थान श्री जागेश्वर महादेव इनका इतिहास आप केदार खण्ड, शिव पुराण आदि में देख सकते है। याेगी, जोगी, नागाबाबा,साधु व संत की इस पावन भूमि में सदा जलने वाला अखाड़ा और वही पर समसान जहा पर श्री भगवान लकुलीस और शिव ने एक साथ

The ancient temple city of Jageshwar is the land of Shiva, one can experience the spirituality and the positivity in this place. 

Jageshwar, apart from its beautifully engraved stone temple, is also the base of various colorful festivals that are celebrated with grandeur.

Hidden deep in the Jat Ganga valley, Jageshwar in Almora in Uttarakhand is one of those enchanting spots on Earth where nature blooms in all its glory and calm still retains a toehold.

It was just another usual day at the office, and I was sitting in my chair, taking calls, and handling clients. Everything seemed fine on the surface, but deep inside I knew I needed an escape. I was surfing the internet when somehow, by a stroke of luck, I came across a website labeled Retreat in Uttarakhand. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I had booked a room at Van Serai eco-lodge in Jageshwar for the upcoming weekend.

A song in stone. A magical melody in the form of each structure. Built over a gurgling stream with the green deodars as backdrop, the temple complex plays its part in bringing alive the spiritual history of the place.
