Sanjeev Acharya and Business Studies post graduate, hails from Nepal who followed his passion for Wildlife and Birds from at an early age. In 2005 Sanjib began Regular Bird watching around Eastern Nepal and coordinate conservation awareness programs, bird watching programs to students around Koshi.
2007 onwards Sajib participated in Programs and workshops to hone his birding skills with Asian waterbird count, Bird Ringing programs, Vulture nest monitoring, National Training Workshop on Midwinter Waterbird Count and Bengal Florican Survey at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve.
Going Forward Sanjib moved to Chitwan, Nepal and volunteered in “Capacity Strengthening of Field Ornithologist for Water Bird Count” , National Workshop On Red Data Book For Birds Of Nepal at Sauraha, Chitwan.
In 2015 Sanjib completed his Nature Guide Training along with esteemed workshops in Redlist for birds of Nepal, in Chitwan and Raptors Survey around Annapurna Conservation Area.
Sanjib began his career as a Naturalist and Guide as a research assistant for the Swamp Francolin Survey and habitat monitoring at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve and Forest bird Survey and data collection of birds and their habitats around Lowland Forest of Western Nepal, Farmland Bird Survey around Lumbini and Koshi.
Sanjib has coordinated programs on Importance of Wetland and Important Wetland Birds’’ a community awareness Program and capacity Strengthening Florican Survey at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve and associated areas.
He became a professional birding guide working at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Dharan Forest and Langtang National Park, completed Bird Survey Around Annapurna Conservation.
His Skills and Interest in wildlife conservation brought him to Uttarakhand, India where he has been associated with Asian Adventures Pvt. Ltd as an In house Naturalist and Birding Guide.
